We live in a time when it is more important than ever for Christians to know what they believe and to be able to effectively communicate their faith. The Defending Truth Apologetics Conference began with this in mind. Established in 2013 by NRBTV, the annual event aims to help students and adults apply their faith in the culture.
Beginning Wednesday, August 24, NRBTV will broadcast informative presentations from the 2015 Defending Truth Apologetics Conference. Speakers include well-known Christian apologists including:
- Alex McFarland (Viral Truth)
- Stephen C. Meyer (Discovery Institute)
- Abdu Murray (Embrace the Truth)
- Frank Turek (I Don't Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist)
The series begins with a presentation from NRBTV President and CEO, Troy A. Miller, entitled "Why Apologetics Is Important to the Believer & the Church".
