Rescuing the Gospel Campaign

When Martin Luther nailed his Ninety-Five Theses to the door of the Wittenberg Cathedral, he was declaring war on the distortions and abuses of the leadership of the Catholic Church in his era. That was 500 years ago. But today, it is just as important that we rescue the gospel from the distortions and abuses of our own culture, both inside and outside the church.

Rescuing the Gospel, a new documentary currently in production, tells the story of the incredibly courageous acts whereby Luther launched the Protestant Reformation. But it is much more than a history lesson. Hosted by Dr. Erwin Lutzer (The Moody Church) and based on his book of the same name, Rescuing the Gospel is a call to arms, reminding us that it is still our task, in 2017 just as in 1517, to preserve the gospel in the face of its foes. What’s more, Rescuing the Gospel equips Christian viewers to make this important stand.

This is a message that the world needs to hear. But we’re not quite there yet. We still need to raise $20,000 by June 30th to bring this incredibly important documentary to the airwaves.

Would you be willing to help cover the costs of completing this project and getting the word out to as many viewers as possible?

If you are able to give $100 or more toward this effort, we would love to send you your very own DVD copy of Rescuing the Gospel in November, after it airs on NRBTV.

Rescuing the gospel isn’t something that was completed 500 years ago. It’s the task of every Christian in every age.
