Q: I don’t have DIRECTV®. Can I find NRBTV on DISH® or cable?

A: NRBTV is currently available on DIRECTV® satellite and on select broadcast affiliates. Our channel can also be streamed online and via our Roku® channel or mobile apps. We are actively seeking to expand to other satellite and cable platforms in the future. If you are interested in carrying NRBTV on your platform or becoming an NRBTV affiliate, send us a message or call us at (615) 866-2702 and dial extension 107.

Q: Where can I find a printed program schedule?

A: Due to ongoing programming changes, our program schedule is only available online.

Q: How can I order the DVD of a program I saw on NRBTV?

A: NRBTV broadcasts content provided by independent producers who often make their programs available for purchase on DVD. To find out if a particular show is available for purchase, please visit the show’s website. Website links, if available, can be found on the program page. Simply select the appropriate program from the listing to see the program page. If you don’t recall the name of a broadcast, please send us a message and we will get back to you promptly.

Q: What does NRB stand for?

Q: How can I get information about advertising my product or service on NRBTV?

A: As a noncommercial television channel, NRBTV is not permitted to sell paid advertising. We do, however, offer tax-deductible sponsorship opportunities. For more information, send us a message or call us at (615) 866-2702 and dial extension 111.

Q: How can I get my program on NRBTV?

Q: How can I get my PSA or promotional spot aired on NRBTV?

A: NRBTV airs approved PSAs and promotional spots from non-profit and government entities. To submit a spot for consideration, please send us a message or call us at (615) 866-2702 and dial extension 204.

Q: Why is closed captioning only available for certain NRBTV broadcasts?

A: This video programmer certification is provided pursuant to 47 CFR 79.1. NRBTV is exempt from the closed captioning rules pursuant to 47 CFR 79.1(d)(12). Captions are available on certain programs when they are provided by the program producer.
